During do some tasks or take on some projects with Chinese, it is better to confirm the detail double times, better to confirm the detail by mail or printed document. Oral discussion may lead to misunderstanding. Detail may cover the scheduling, what to do, how to do, discussion point and decision. Chinese easily tell you some conclusion verbally, even if they do not have deeply thinking, so maybe a while later, they may change their mind or forget what we have agreed. But they will take agreement by writing more carefully, may take deeply thinking then reply to you by writing.
