Education is very important to Filipinos. Almost all have been in school and a lot have the opportunity to graduate in college and become professionals. They are conscious with their ratings or their grades. A lot of them even follow what the old ones will tell them because those who are old are considered experienced. The old ones say that one should not sit on a book because doing that can make themselves wash off the facts they know just like a person evacuating processed foods out of the body. They should put the book under their pillows when they sleep or just make it their pillow to give time for information found in the book to be absorbed by the brain.
