Fengshui, an ancient physiognomy, is widely believed by modern Chinese businessmen. If your Chinese counterparts request a particular date to conduct a business with you, that’s probably because it’s a lucky day on the calendar. Many would consult with the stars and wait for a lucky day before they make a decision. In a Chinese company, Fengshui could be applied to the direction of the building, the position of a table or the color of a sign. Lucky cats and money trees are often seen in a Chinese company. Your Chinese client will be impressed if you understand what’s going on there.
